TammieThe new officers of Chi Delta Mu would like to take this opportunity to issue a statement concerning Tammie, a previous long term member of CDM and former chapter treasurer. One of the many goals of CDM is to build bridges to all individuals and groups in our gender gifted community. It is important to the new officers that we work to bring the community together as opposed to dwelling on the things that divide us. As to the events that transpired it is in our opinion that both sides of the conflict did what they felt was in the best interest of the chapter at the time. Please realize that we are completely volunteer run. Anyone that has ever stepped up to give of their time, money and energy to keep this chapter of Tri-Ess thriving and growing is to be commended and placed in the highest regard. Therefore, we would like to at this time, acknowledge and thank all previous officers of the chapter for their time and dedication. Many of us owe them a debt of gratitude for the kindness and helpfulness that they gave to us over the years to help us grow and explore our feminine journey. The current officers of CDM (Cynthia, Linda, Sharla and Steffie) would like to especially acknowledge Tammie's, Gerri's and Theresa's contributions to our chapter over the past many years and we sincerely hope that we can all put aside any differences and move on in the spirit of friendship. As we enter our 25th year we would like to offer an open invitation to all previous officers and members to contact us. CDM is a sisterhood, a sorority of like minded people that gather for a common cause, to help each other and those around us come to understand the gift that we have been given. Please consider contacting one of us, we'd honestly like to reconnect with all of you. Linda Mills Sharla DeLawter |
