Introduction

"Let us therefore no longer pass judgment on one another, but resolve instead never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of another. I know and am puersuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean." (Romans 14:13-14)

According to our faith, it is God who creates us. He forms us as we are. Our genes, our temperments, our time and place in history, our talents, our gifts, our weaknessess -- all are part of God's inscrutable and loving plan for us. So, somehow God must be behind the fact that some people are homosexual." Why then would God's word condemn it?

Are these people a "mistake"? God doesn't make mistakes. Then, is there a mistake or misunderstanding in how the bible is being interpretted? That is the argument presented here.

When you carefully look at the verses in the Bible that are so often used to condemn homosexuality, you find that the meanings intended are not present. Therefore, people must stop opposing homosexuality by simply quoting the Bible, because it simply does not support their case.
