You're about to take part in a Sunday afternoon ritual. Men are gathering for one last shot at the weekend, when there never seems to be enough time in the world to dance. The floor fills rapidly, the seductive beats and hedonistic air combine to fill the room with an energy more sizzling than beads of sweat on a hairy chest. Central to all this is the skill and imaging techniques of the T-Dance DJ. His role is paramount, as witnessed throughout the course of the afternoon. His passion for the music ultimately results in waves of expectation alternating with waves of ecstatic release. Through hot mixing techniques, additional sampling and live production tricks along the way, the DJ deftly guides the steamy crowd from plateau to plateau. Some delightfull detours are taken through liberal reworkings of certain selections. These subtle effective surprises are strategically placed and often get a rise from a floor full of men screaming and shouting for more. The songs of a Tea Dance seem to enjoy a life all of their own, never failing to inspire a sense of contagious celebration. They are at the forefront of Hi-NRG's cherished classics, and are the undisputed flavors of choice of Gay Men everywhere. The weekend's nearly over, it's time to run to the floor, peal off your shirt and feel the heat of the moment!
And so to dream...
