So I'm in Jacksonville, Florida now. Okay, technically, the hotel's in Jacksonville Beach, but details... It's been a very long day and it technically started yesterday, but I'll save that for later. So I never went to bed last night. Instead, I slept most of the way from Logan to LaGuardia and then from LaGuardia to Orlando. The trip down from New York to Florida was very turbulent. Apparently, it was so bad that people weren't allowed to even get up and go to the bathroom. I slept through all but the end, so it didn't bother me. So Orlando, while gray and rainy, was still warm and impressive. I've never seen palm trees for real before, only on T.V. Anyway, so then Dad, Mom & I drove the two or three hours to Jacksonville and I slept for that too. We're staying at the Holiday Inn Seaside Resort. And gosh do I have an ocean view! We are right on the beach and I'm falling alseep. I miss J! |
