French Onion Soup
Tools you will need:
cutting board
knife
large pot
oven safe pan
large spoon
oven/stove
broiler or toaster oven
Ingredients you will need:
2 tablespoons Beef Base
5 yellow onoins
2 cups burgandy wine
3 tablespoons fresh crushed garlic
1 gal water
one slice toasted sourdough/diner
1-2 peices mozzarella cheese/diner
First peel and slice the onions as thin as you can.
place them in the pan, and cover them with the burgandy.
Put the pan in the oven(preheated to 350) for about 35 minutes.
Boil the water in the large pan and add the beef base and garlic.
Pour the onions and wine into the pan and cook until all is hot to the taste.
Ladle soup into cups or bowls and place the bread on top of the soup.Trim the bread to fit if it is too large.
Place the cheese on top of the bread and place in the broiler until the cheese is slightly browned.
Voila you're done!
