Summer. The time of warm days, and ripening fruit.
The Goddess is now Warrior and Protector. She defends her own even as a she-bear defends her new cubs, not yet grown. Trickster plays now the part of Puck, readying for Midsummer when change is rampant and conventions dropped.

June 21-Summer Solstice

This the change time. Trickster cries out "Changed or Be changed!" It is a time for relieving ourselves of convention and challenging tradition.

July 31-(also called Harvest Home)

The day when the Harvest King dies to bring forth the bountiful harvest that the fall will bring. It is a time to think of the sacrifices we will make for the bounty we hope we will receive.
