I have included them because they support the theme of this page and my interests. They also bring up issues of the propriety of creating and using such images for pleasure or accessing other mental states. Part of me thinks this is exploitive and sick. Another compares it to showing beautiful women in construction clothes, like in "Flashdance". Would that exploit poor women who have to work in factories or hard labor jobs? What do you think?

Does anyone know who engineered these wonderful pics? Would you like to be one of their models?

There are hundreds of such images at the InfoTrek Archive site, interspersed with images of men in braces, neck and body braces, and empty braces, none of which are the subject of this site. The images load slowly and you can spend (or waste) a lot of time getting the variations of them. I'm including them here for your convenience and enjoyment.

The site has both orthodontics (teeth braces - I remember from grade school) and orthotics. The first four or five subsections seem to have the best images. Although I didn't explore all the pages, I included a range of topics that have been suggested in my e-mails.

I think these are all models because the braces seem to be the same set in all the photos (not a real problem, however). Notice that the lower section seems to be adjustable. The Capezio style dance shoes here have always been a favorite of mine. How nice to include them. Its like the little roses on the frosting on the cake!
