One of the things I love to do is sit around and sketch Wonder Woman. I can't really say why,but it is very relaxing for me. One particularly fun thing is to design alternative costume ideas. So, here are a few sketches, some finished and colored on the computer and some just early pencil sketches. There are also some drawings of Wonder Girl. I hope you enjoy my work, but it's hardly work for me!

I wanted to return to the eagle emblem on the breast plate. I just miss that, it seems classic while the "double W" just seems too commercial.

I also wanted Diana to have the bicep armbands. Basically just for design purposes. I think they look cool. The boots are also a throwback to the original Wonder Woman of the 1940's.

In this first sketch above, the tiara is modern and the hair is pulled up at the sides. I thought her hair must really get in her eyes. I see this uniform as an all white and gold look. The second is just Diana in her current costume.

I love the Golden Age style and this is attempt to interpret it in my way.

...and finally a few sketches of the new Wonder Girl, as I would design her. Maybe I'm just old but this look we see in the comics just doesn't cut it for me. She just looks like any teenager, trying to copy the styles on pop stars and rap stars. She needs to ditch the wig too...ick.
