DREAMING OF YOU DREAMING OF ME 

Sunday you called and said, "Hi babydoll,  
I can't make it there today,  
my dad wants me to mow the lawn. 
Can we make it Tuesday?"

I said I understood, and Tuesday would be good. 
You said "I had a really hot dream last night 
we went ...... and you said...... and you were wearing.... 
and I knew you'd understand, I'll be with you when I can." 


Tuesday you called and said, "Hi babydoll, 
I can't make it there today, 
Work was hard and I feel sick. 
Can we make it Thursday?" 

I said I understood, and Thursday would be good. 
You said "I had a really hot dream last night 
we went ...... and you said...... and you were wearing.... 
and I knew you'd understand, I'll be with you when I can." 
 

Thursday you called and said, "Hi babydoll, 
I can't make it there today, 
my mom needs me to do something 
Can we make it Saturday night 
we'll have all day Sunday to hold each other tight." 

I said I understood, and Saturday would be good. 
You said "I had a really hot dream last night 
we went ...... and you said...... and you were wearing.... 
and I knew you'd understand, I'll be with you when I can." 

Saturday you didn't call. 
Saturday you didn't come by. 
Sunday you didn't call. 
You must have been dreaming........       .
