MISCELLANEOUS SHOTS
The main thing in Bowling Green was atop "Hospital Hill". It was this brightly colored water tower. Pretty impressive up close OR from a distance.
Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. was one of THE most beautiful campuses I have ever seen. My photos don't do it justice. Everywhere you looked, the stone faced buildings and columns were astounding and made a wonderful visual experience. The campus was set on a hill and visible from most everywhere in some part in Bowling Green.
Then, I moved to Pennsylvania to a VERY small town called Coudersport. The fall was beautiful! The colors were SO vibrant and rich. These were two of my favorite spots in town. The water was beautiful with the sun reflecting off of it.
This was a house on the right from my apartment just as you came into town. It was the epitome of a "haunted house" from it's outside appearance, but it had it's charms too, I thought. It would have been interesting to see what it would have looked like in its "heyday".
These are the first pictures I took as I was driving into the town. I couldn't believe it. AN ACTUAL COVERED BRIDGE. It was like something out of a book somewhere. The other bridge was just so...charming! I couldn't pass it up!
This was taken about a week before the first REAL snow I experinced in Coudersport. I was amazed at how PURPLE these flowers looked. It was, as they say, "A Kodak Moment", although if I remember my budget at the time, it was more like a "Fuji Moment"! (smile)
Even the Winter White was brilliantly so.
