I hav'nt read your page yet..But would like you to look at mine. My girlfriend and I kept the secret that she was in a lesbian relationship for a year as far as her family goes. Her 2 Brothers, her mother. I moved to Texas when I met her in a chat room. W visited and were so very much in love. I sold my home to come here and be with her. Now after a year her Mom and brothers know. They never mention me. It's like I don't exist. The most difficult time is at Christmas when I have to be alone. She is 43 and I am 41. I'm trying very hard to look at the positive side of my situation. Positive being that her family did'nt push her away and they still love her. That's the best thing about her telling them. I still love this woman....I am happy for her. I'm tryin my best to be happy. I've just learned that even at 41 years of age you can still learn things. I don't want her to ask her family if I can be there at christmas. I don't want to shove it in their face. As it stands now, If they want to accept me thats o but it hurts. When you're in love with someone you want them to be happy. You want them to feel good and I don't want to take her family relationship away from her. When I lived in West Virginia EVERYBODY accepted me. *S* Sorry I've written so much but you both will understand why. Her son (18) accepts me. Her daughter (15) accepts me. *S*
