Last Night
I was startled by the ring
of the phone late last night
when you called
tainted with alcohol to say
you loved me.
my emptiness was just beginning
to fill me to points
I could not have handled
when the sweet sounds of you
lingered through the line
too many miles away
to smile a real smile
and you ask me to dream
of us
of you
and things unforseen
i try and pretend
that the pit in my stomach
is not expanding with every
breath taken without you here
so i close my eyes
lay myself down
and try to recapture the spell
of your dangerous green gaze
so i can allow it
to enrapture me
one more time.

Truro
Purple blue and pink
painted a rainbow
just for us.
setting in the
sparkle
of your green eyes,
it fell gently
upon our shoulders
as we gazed in awe.
i held you tighter
trying to capture
the moment
forever.
you kissed me
as night filled
the sky.
and we lay-
in our love
made soundly
in the sand.
the stars and moon
shone brightly
wrapping thier arms
around the both of us
completing our circle,
as we held
the essence of life
in the palms of our hands.
you cried your tears
of perfected happiness
and my voice ached
to scream
i love you.
the moment
remained absolute
without it.

Wild Things
the wine
burning candles
flashing cameras
and consuming music
create the eroticism
i see for us.
your teasing smile
looking at me
with inviting eyes
as you touch
the tip of the bottle
to your lips
and allow your tongue
to run around
its rim,
you giggle as i
capture the moment.
the world around us
disappears
as we soak
one another
in fermentation
along with our
own fluids.
i look at you
for long moments
before my appraoch.
your taunting naked
body
beckons me
and you continue
your drink,
so relaxed.
i taste the mix
on your body
and it is sweet.
we join ourselves
wholly
and enter into
our night of
my fulfilled
fantasy.
