A Lover's Whisper
The lover’s voice
whispers softly in the other’s ear
“I’ll love you always”
powerful but delicate words
She opens the passage from the ear to the brain
to allow into herself
this erotic yet spiritual whisper
which penetrates sensuously throughout her body
spreading its pleasure
from the brain
to the heart
to the depths of her soul
But the words are not timeless
They have, like all things,
evaporated into the abyss of life
tossed away by the speaker
like a melody happily sung
and then forgotten amid the sores and hurts of life
But this whisper of love
will stay with the hearer
until she passes on out of this world
And even after this
her soul will feel the power of those gentle words
on its eternal and never ending journeys
and this memory will gladden the hearts
of the soul’s future possessors
male and female alike
For those softly spoken words of love eternal
have bound the souls
of the speaker and the hearer for all time
For even a whisper will always be remembered
and etched in the Mind of God
