I first saw Chris on The Dognut site and sent him an e-mail. He replied on a day that I was headed out to New Orleans, so I wrote my reply on my laptop somewhere in the air between Tampa and New Orleans. In a high-tech whirled, for a blond "air-head", that might just be appropriate. Though writing Chris was not one of my infamous blond moments, as he is a really kewl guy! (I charge Chris five bucks for every hit on this page for saying that, so please visit often!)

Chris is a very honest, intelligent, sincere and sweet guy who lives in the Detroit, Michigan area and works in the computer information systems field for a very large firm. In the past few months, we have enjoyed each others company in Tampa, Orlando, and Detroit. We have visited places such as, The Club (Firestone), Epcot, Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, The Jungle, Menjo's, Metropolis, Parliament House, Southern Nights, Stony Creek Metropark, Universal Studios, to name a few. Who knows where we will show up next?

Chris has been part of many firsts in my life. He was the first, and to this point in my life, the only guy I've ever officially dated. He was my longest house guest, spending almost eight consecutive days with me in Tampa (I'm sure he was damned glad to get back to Detroit after that). He was the first of my gay friends to introduce me to his mother. He and Mike M. were the first two gay friends that I had known in the same distant city that I had introduced to each other. All in all, Chris has been a very much cherished part of my life, I love him dearly as the great friend that he is. Of course, things have not always been ideal, read on....

When Chris volunteered to help me to move Jordan from New Orleans to Florida, it was the moving experience from hell, as the Truck that I borrowed from work had not seen much use recently. To make a long story short, let's say that by now the truck is like new with all of the things we had to replace on the way back to Florida. Chris ended up with more than he bargained for as a result of the trip though. I am not sure whether to thank him for taking Jordan off of my hands, to curse him, or to have him committed to the finest mental institution in the world for serious help. You see as a result of this trip, he and Jordan met for the first time and got together and are now living together in Detroit. All that I can say at this point is, "Good luck Chris, you are going to need lots and lots and lots of it!"

Well, I sincerely doubt that my wish of luck has had anything to do with this, but July of 2000 will make Chris' and Jordan's one year mark of being together. I can only imagine how wonderful of a feeling that it is to have been together for a year. I've never had a boy friend or a roommate, so to me being together for a year must be such a truly wonderful feeling and experience. I hope that everyone reading this will join me in congratulating Chris and Jordan on their first year together and wish them many, many more, each better than the last.

What are they looking at? Holiday Inn Select, Auburn Hills, MI University of Tampa on the Hillsborough River University of Tampa, a riverside park on the Hillsborough River Frankenmuth, MI will never be the same!

Why not take a moment and check out Chris' home page he even says some nice things about me: http://home.earthlink.net/~cgavula/, then you can drop him an e-mail and say howdy... BTW Chris, thanks for the nice comments! The check is in the mail...

I'd better like what you write me bitch!  Don't look Ethel!!!!
