The Naturist Lifestyle
So, you must either know or are wondering...what is a naturist? A naturist is someone who believes it is physically and emotionally beneficial to interract with others nude. It used to be called being a "nudist".
I had my first experiance at a naturist resort this past summer. It was one of the most emotionally and spiritually important moments in my life. Up until my visit, I had always struggled with my self image. I felt I was "disproportionately huge".
Now, first things first, this is a FAMILY resort... not an orgy. Families with thier children were there along with people older than my grandparents. I arrived at the gate with...trepidation and a sense of being VERY naughty. After 15 minutes though people with clothes seemed..odd. It seemed as if they were closed off, distant.
I started feeling comfortable with myself and others almost immediately. What made the experiance so wonderful were the people. I had never met a group so relaxed, friendly, warm, and nice. I highly recommend it to anyone who has hang-ups about their appearance. AND, I look forward to next summer when my husband and I become members of that resort and seeing again the people I met my first visit.
