INTERESTS/ACTIVITIES: By day, I am a Ph.D. of Electrical Engineering (computer type through and through). On nights and weekends, I am an organist/choirmaster for a small Lutherin Church.  At home, I have a 7' Yamaha grand piano and an Op. 1918 Moeller pipe organ that I rebuilt over the course of several years.  I have enhanced the instrument to include MIDI, with Ahlborn Gallanti sound modules and with SCPOP registration on my Roland sound canvas.  The console is computerized and can download sound files from the web while I practice

At the church, I have a nice Kilgen instrument.  I have already started to update the console to more modern mechanisms and lighting. As part of the parish revitalization project, I play in a rock group called PT and the Opposable Thumbs...I think of myself in many ways, not usually as an opposable thumb, though.

I am into running, biking, weight lifting, duets (absolutely any kind on any kind of keyboard).  I am fluent in French and ASL.  I am also an IR pilot of SEL aircraft.  I have a greenhouse and raise orchids for fun.  I also have a 1987 Grand National which I bracket race and rebuild to keep nimble.  I also love to travel, model railroad, and cook.

Musicwise, I like  most anything from Bach to Rock, and I do compose and improve as necessary.  Drop me a line, I enjoy corresponding.
