OK, that got a lukewarm response - now hands up those of you who *love* to shop for clothes... Whoa, almost got knocked down in the rush! Its a funny thing, but one of the biggest secrets that 'natural' gals have kept to themselves for years is the joy of buying pretty, feminine clothes. I have started taking a lot more interest when my wife goes shopping and I even 'kibitz' on the side, adding a suggestion of my own here and there. It was a little surprising at first, but she actually values my advice and likes my new 'fashion sense'. I am still learning a lot by observation - I'm amazed how some younger women demean themselves by wearing grunge clothes. I don't mean those gals who are making 'feminist' statements, they have a fashion sense all their own... I'm speaking about women who just don't care how they look when out in the public eye. I suppose that it may just be my male self coming through, but I do appreciate feminine beauty. I was a professional photographer for a number of years and every weekend was spent at a different wedding. I can assure you that each and every bride I photographed was beautiful - without exception. There's something about a wedding that brings out the best in a woman - maybe its the pagentry or maybe the desire to look special for their partner on the big day. Or maybe its just that every woman lets her inner beauty shine through. Ah well, it is nice to dream :^)

I can remember staring at their advertisments in Penthouse and Playboy as a young man, desperately wishing that I could find the courage to order some of their beautiful clothes. The main problem was with ordering from overseas - how could I pay in US dollars, what if something went wrong with delivery, what about returns and so on and on... Well, now all that has changed with the net and the Visa card girls... and Frederick's is still there with some of the best lingerie and women's clothing for all of us. The web page is set up with error checks to make sure that you enter a 5 digit 'zip' code etc which doesn't help if you are ordering from overseas :^( Still, maybe they will fix the problem soon and a catalog will be winging its way across the ocean to my door :^)

Victoria's Secret Alright girls, this is one little secret that needs to be shared - tell your partners, tell your friends and relatives... in fact, tell anyone who loves beautiful, feminine lingerie and clothes that Victoria's Secret is out there. I found the web site for Victoia's by acident, then discovered that they offer a free catalogue just by leaving your contact details on their site. You can go there by clicking on the image link on the left or else use the URL http://www.victoriassecret.com I ordered the catalogue and it turned up after three weeks in the snail mail. My wife grabbed it first and all I heard were appreciative 'oohs' and 'ahs'... It seems that she likes the bras most of all - there are quite a few styles with 'action backs' which help keep the shoulder straps up. Unfortunately Australian manufacturers are somewhat limited in imagination and when you finally find something you like the best idea is to buy a lifetime supply ;^) OK, now that I've found the site and have the catalogue, will someone please tell me what the Australian euivalents are to US dress sizes ?
