Quiet Place
Every day is full of stresses that deplete us. That is why it is so vital to begin each day renewed in spirit by talking with the Lord. We speak in prayer and He speaks through the Spirit and through His word. I was very fortunate in the fact that I was introduced to the joy of daily bible study 6 years ago through Bible Study Fellowship. It is a wonderful study that is set up for you to be in the Word daily and requires you to think about what God is saying in each passage. Nothing is spoon fed to you. There are many other great ways to study God's word.

"Thy word I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you"
Psalm 199:11In Depth Word Study
I was introduced to this concept through the book, Wisdom's Way of Learning by Marilyn Howshall. First you a select a word to study and look up its definition in the 1828 Webster's dictionary. This dictionary's definitions are not as influenced by modern society's views, are more closely related to scripture and may even quote it to give an example of a definition. You highlight the nouns and verbs within this definition and use an exhaustive concordance to look up all bible verses that contain these words. You can even go a level deeper by looking up the definitions of the nouns and verbs found in the first definition. Highlight the nouns and verbs in these definitions and use the concordance to find where these words are located in the bible. This is a time consuming process but is a great way to gain an understanding of what the bible says on a subject.
