The Carrousel Club was founded in May 1985 by members who attended the pre-existing Seahorse Club in South Australia, which began in the early seventies.

Summary of this Site
The resource index page has lots to see. We publish a
Newsletter every two months, and issues to June 2003 can be read online. There are lots of 'how to', information and discussion articles to provide inspiration, information and sometimes more confusion. This page also gives access to quotes and jokes, Frequently asked Questions (FAQ), book reviews, We support all gender diversity, Male to Female transgendered women, Female-to-Male transgendered men, Intersexed and Cross Dressers.
There are an enormous number of
links about the subject of being transgender, including local health professionals, if you need this information. We have listed many sites that we like, and where possible, we include a comment by a reviewer.
Carrousel Club contact details
This Web site has been established to promote our club and encourage membership, and to provide a significant resource of information about gender difference. The links at the top of every page will take you straight to each section quickly. The names used should be self explanatory, and the name in red will show which section you are in. The first four will lead you to information about our club, and the last two will access our large library of information.

The Structure of the Carrousel Club
The Carrousel Club of South Australia Incorporated is a 'not-for-profit' incorporated body, under the Incorporations Act of South Australia. We are governed by a committee of about eight, consisting of a President, Secretary/Treasurer, membership officer, and up to six other committee. The committee meet bi-monthly and conduct the business of the club.
