SUMMIT LAKE

They call it "Summit Lake" for a reason. We drove up and up and up and... you get the picture. This is what we found at the top. These "craggy" mountains are home to wild sheep. Talking about some climbing gear! The sheep just walk all over these mountains like we would walk across a parking lot. We have no sheep pictures, but trust us, they're amazing! And so are these mountains...

This is Summit Lake! Yes, the water is actually that green. The green color is from the glacial
silt.. The glaciers feed the lake and in this glacial melt is fine, flour-like rock particles that
reflect the green light of the spectrum. A beautiful sight! You have to see this one!!!!
So, of course, we had to go down and take a closer look at Summit Lake...
