My Medieval Life:
Playing in the S.C.A.

    My intrests in History, brought me in touch with a group called the Society for Creative Anachronism.  I really could ellaborate on the organization for you, but I won't.  The large Yellow Shield at the Top Left hand corner of this page will take you to the Organizations Web Page.  I have included a smaller copy of that same shield at the bottom of this page, and you will also notice a small purple shield.  The small purple shield is the link to the web page of the kingdom that I live in at this time. 
     The S.C.A. is a not-for-profit organization devoted to the study and recreation of Pre-Sevententh Century Western Culture. 
We have tournaments, and festivals.  Some of the gatherings are open to the public as Demonstrations of Medieval life, others are for us alone. 
     In the Society, I am Lord Alexander Adelbrecht Von Merklingen.  I am a Lord, because I have earned that title.  I served as the Dance Minister to my old Shire(Group), and in doing so, I earned the respect of my peers, and I also earned a nifty title, 'LORD'
