MICHAEL BERGIN BIO & FILMOGRAPHY

Michael was discovered as a college student at the University of Connecticut while working odd jobs to make money for groceries. A friend told him he could earn up to $1000.00 a day modeling in New York and that he should give it a try. Michael visited some agencies and soon landed a modeling contract with the prestigious Click Agency where he was soon strutting his stuff for the likes of Valentino, Donna Karan and Hugo Boss. Before long Michael was noticed by Calvin Klein. Michael started modeling for Calvin Klein replacing Marky Mark as the spokesbody for his racy black-and-white print ads. This helped to make Michael Bergin a male Super Model. Michael also has done commercials and print advertisements for Kellogg's, Bacardi Rum, L'Oreal, Maybelline, Coty, Perry Ellis and Liz Claiborne. In addition, Michael has worked as a correspondent for E! Entertainment. Michael also has had bit parts in the following TV shows, Central Park West and VH1's Latin America's House of Style. While modeling Michael met the late Carolyn Bessette Kennedy whom he dated for a while. There were rumor's that the couple where heading toward the altar when their relationship fell apart and they broke up. Carolyn later went on to marry John Kennedy and they were tragically killed in a airplane crash.

Baywatch: (1998) White Thunder at Glacier Bay........ Baywatch made to a movie. Starforce: (1999) a Sci-Fi thriller in which Michael plays the lead in this indie film about a young man raised by a genetically engineered soldier. At this time this movie has not been released to my knowledge. The Broken Hearts Club: This movie is listed in post-production and is due to be released when production is completed sometime in the year 2000. Plot Summary: In the palm-shaded oasis of West Hollywood, we meet Dennis, a promising photographer. As he prepares to celebrate his twenty-eighth birthday, he laments, "I can't decide if my friends are the best or worse thing that ever happened to me." The gang includes Benji, the punkish innocent with a penchant for gym bodies; Howie, the psychology grad student who thinks too much and lives too little; Cole, the charismatic actor who accidentally keeps stealing everybody's guy; Patrick, the cynical quipster, and Taylor, resident drama queen, who, until recently, prided himself on his long-term relationship. Providing sage advice and steady work is Jack, the beloved patriarch whose restaurant is a haven for them all. When tragedy strikes the group, the friendships are put to the test. The Broken Hearts Club was shown at the Sundance Film Festival with great reviews and should be in the theaters soon. CLOSING THE DEAL: This movie is listed in post-roduction. Michael is very busy with all his movie projects. When not working Michael enjoys relaxing and working out. Michael usually can be found with his friends at the local coffee shop or rollerblading in the park. Michael loves browsing for antiques at the flea market and he currently divides his time between homes in New York and in Los Angeles and also Hawaii.
