Jean and Dinaissue no.1 November 1999
Let us open our first issue with a run-down of events about this homepage from the time Geocities gave us the space, until today.
Sometime in September (last week? or was it October, first week?) . Pyawzeh was granted a web space by Geocities. She immediately informed us about it and we agreed to help her put up the homepage. The homepage was to be about our group, she said, so she'd be helping us with the HTML and all that stuff.
Mid-October. We decided that the Tropics was not a nice place so we asked that the address be changed to somewhere in West Hollywood. The change was effected. (It was so quick, we were unprepared!). That same day, the first page (the one provided by Geocities) was also modified.
November 1 - 8. Yum-yum spent a lot of time on the Net looking for the background set that we were going to use. Jean was so excited of the project that she literally forced Red to join in. Raylull volunteered to guest in our homepage ( a link! actually) so that it won't look so empty, lonely and forlorn (besides, he says he needed additional hits). Punkee also began the first drafts of his Journal.
November 9, 10 and 11. Pyawzeh had a lot of things to do. Yum-yum was temporarily out of the Net (grounded because of assignments). Dina and Jean were busy with other matters. Red was out playing basketball. Punkee wanted so much to see his first page on the Net...
Finally, November 14 -- today -- the birth of OUR HOMEPAGE!
