Biography of Gordon Miles

Born 48 years ago (Earth time) on Mars Colony Verdi, Gordon Miles is the only child of legendary soprano Moira Miles, now deceased. His biological father has never been revealed. However, Federation Ambassador Gustav Kemp was publicly known as Ms. Miles' intimate companion for
more than forty and has been lauded by Miles as a major influence in his life. Still serving the Federation at age 92, Ambassador Kemp maintains a close relationship with Miles.
Miles was educated at the finest schools in the alpha quadrant: Eton Academy on Earth; Tiburon College of Liberal Arts; Vulcan Academy of Social Sciences. His first posting was as Deputy Cultural Attache on Alpha Centauri. After his transfer to the Starfleet Liaison Office on Betazed, Miles was recruited by Starfleet Intelligence as a deep cover operative, although the circumstances and details of Miles' relationship with that branch of service are never officially confirmed.
Of course Gordon Miles is more than his work. He relaxes by sharpening his sword fighting and fencing skills, or with a long run in dry, cool climates. He is an avid vegetarian chef who likes his gin sharply chilled and stirred with a just a splash of tonic. He is slow to anger, slow to bare any sort of real emotion, but fiercely loyal to his friends. He has an almost perfect memory for detail. He claims he's never allowed himself the luxury of an enduring intimate relationship.
