Rei-chan is a little hot headed. In the beginning, she didn't like Usagi that much. She even dated Mamo-chan. She doesn't like to show her emotions much. She feels that it would make her weak. As the show progresses, so does her caring personality. She stopped dating Mamo-chan because they found out he was the Prince of Earth. She tried to help Usagi become a better person through harsh discipline. And in times of despair and death, she gives Usagi the words she needs to carry on the battle and win. In fact, Sailormars is the last one to die of the Sailor Senshi. She was the last to die against Beryl and Galaxia, both times giving Usagi the love she never truly showed.
Rei is also a Shinto priestess. She lives in Hikawa Shrine and aspires to become an international success. She always takes charge and wanted to be leader of the Senshi at one point. She attended T*A Academy for girls through the series. It gave her the independence from the rest of the girls who attended the same junior high ( except Minako ) and the same high school.

Mars Power, Make Up!
Rei says this to become Sailormars. She holds her stick up as
flames emit from the top. She spins around as the flames encircle
her. She stops back facing you and the flames explode. The camera
the pans from her feet all the way until she poses with her hand
on her hip.

Up!
This is Mars' second phrase. She receives this power in the R
series. The sequence is the same except the glyph of Mars is in
background of her pose.
Mars Crystal Power,
Make Up!
Mars' final henshin power. She receives this power from the
pegasus to become Super Sailormars. The streams of fire are more
vibrant and the background is a lot darker. This power was given
to her in the second half of SuperS.
Fire Soul
Fire Soul Bird
Sailormars chants on an o-mamori, throws it into the air,
and does her Fire Soul. It creates a bird made of fire, a phoenix
if you will. She can direct it to any opponent, making it one of
her most efficient attacks.
Burning Mandala
Sailormars traces a circle of fire around herself with her
finger. The expands and turns a ring of many encircled
characters. The fire decapitates and small rings of fire blast
out of her hands.
Mars Flame Sniper
This is her final attack. She holds out her hand and the glyph of
Mars appears. It then bursts into flames, covering the screen.
Mars is then kneeling on the floor as she pulls back the arrow
from her fire bow. She then releases it with precision to her
enemy.
Items
Henshin Stick
Her first Stick was rather simple. Its base was the shape of
a fat pen and the top was the cap of a pen with an ellipse on top.
In the middle of the ellipse was the glyph of Mars.
Star Henshin Stick
Her second Stick. This was used to give Mars her Star Power
and activate attacks she hasn't used before. It's design is
similar to the first, yet it was no longer a pen. On the top was
a star with the glyph of Mars set in it.
Crystal Henshin Stick
Her last Stick. This stick had no resemblance to the previous
two. The pegasus turned the Star Stick into this one. Its base
was pink and was topped with a globe. Connecting the globe was a
set of wings. The globe was topped with a star and had the glyph
of Mars and a bow.
Communicator
It was a mock Crystal-Star Brooch made into a watch. Used to
alert the other Senshi of danger.
Mars Flame Bow
This is an item that Super Sailormars obtains from the
pegasus. It is used to execute the Mars Flame Sniper.
