Ami is the girl genius. She has always finished first and would die if she got other wise. She is quiet and doesn't speak much. she is also very nice to others, yet doesn't use that to make friends due to the fact that she ahs been made fun of all her life. Her best friend is Usagi. They both are very different but share some interests.
As a Senshi, she uses her brain more so than her power. In fact she hesitates to use force. Later in the series she becomes a bit more relaxed and uses her power more. She basically fights with strategy, guiding the others on how to use their power against the enemy. In some cases she gets bold and challenges the enemy to give her all they got. In turn she sometimes is surrounded by misty streams and her tiara's gem begins to glow. In one instance, she was made fun of too far and her intolerance of being second forced her to eliminate her enemy with Mercury Aqua Mirage.

Mercury
Power, Make Up!
This is Mercury's first henshin phrase. She says this and
transforms in a beautiful display of water and bubbles. A ribbon
water and bubbles emit from her wand as she spins in place with
the ribbon wrapping it self around parts of her body that bear
her fuku. She stands with her back facing you as the screen turns
black, ripples of water appear and she is exposed as
Sailormercury. She poses in a shy battle stance.
Mercury Star Power,
Make Up!
This is Mercury's second phrase. She receives this power in the R
series. The sequence is the same except the glyph of Mercury is
in background of her pose.
Mercury Crystal
Power, Make Up!
Mercury's final henshin power. She receives this power from the
pegasus to become Super Sailormercury. The ribbon of water is
more translucent and the background is a lot darker. This power
was given to her in the second half of SuperS.
Shabon Spray
She says this as a bubble appears between her hands. She turns
around and faces you arms crossed. She throws her hands to the
side and releases a great amount of bubbles. Upon impact of her
enemy or after a small bit of traveling they turn into fog.
Shabon Spray Freezing
The same as above, yet if freezes its target.
Shining Aqua Illusion
A drop of water hits a puddle and spirals around Mercury. It
gathers at her raised hands and she hurls a massive stream of
water at her enemy, freezing it.
Double Shabon Spray
Freezing
The same as Shabon Spray Freezing. This time it has twice the
freezing power!
Mercury Aqua Mirage
Mercury's supreme attack. This was used once and destroyed the
enemy. Note that Mercury isn't strong enough to destroy an enemy.
The glyph of Mercury spins around and is surrounded by a sphere
of water. She grabs it and bounces it to the floor, causing a
double helix of ice and water to surround her. With her hands
upraised all the power gathers in a sphere and she releases about
a dozen energy balls, trailed by water streams, at her target.
Upon impact, the enemy is engulfed in an energy sphere, is then
turned into a water figure and explodes in a great water
spectacular.
Mercury Aqua Rhapsody
This is her final attack. she holds her hand out and the glyph of
Mercury appears. It is then surrounded by flowing streams of
water. The water expands, blocking your view and then subsides to
show Mercury playing a harp. While she plays its melodic strands,
streams of water shoot forth and strikes the enemy.
Items
Henshin Stick
Her first Stick was rather simple. Its base was the shape of
a fat pen and the top was the cap of a pen with an ellipse on top.
In the middle of the ellipse was the glyph of Mercury.
Star Henshin Stick
Her second Stick. This was used to give Mercury her Star
Power and activate attacks she hasn't used before. It's design is
similar to the first, yet it was no longer a pen. On the top was
a star with the glyph of Mercury set in it.
Crystal Henshin Stick
Her last Stick. This stick had no resemblance to the previous
two. The pegasus turned the Star Stick into this one. Its base
was pink and was topped with a globe. Connecting the globe was a
set of wings. The globe was topped with a star and had the glyph
of Mercury and a harp.
Mercury's VR Visor
She presses her earring to activate it. It forms across her
eyes and analyzes her enemy.
Mercury's Pocket
Computer
This is used in conjunction with the Visor. It's used to process
the data and store it in the memory.
Communicator
It was a mock Crystal-Star Brooch made into a watch. Used to
alert the other Senshi of danger.
Mercury Aqua Harp
This is an object Super Sailormercury obtains and she uses it to
do her attack, Mercury Aqua Rhapsody.
