In Crinos form, an Ajaba gains the Physical Traits Brawny, Ferocious x2, Quick, Relentless, Robust, and Tough but suffers the Negative Social Traits Bestial x2 and Tactless. In Chatro form, an Ajaba gains the Physical Traits Ferocious, Quick, Relentless, and Tough but suffers the Negative Social Traits Bestial x2. In Hyaena form, an Ajaba gains the Physical Traits Brawny, Quick, and Tireless but suffers the Negative Social Trait Bestial.
Ajaba Yava
*Each Ajaba has a nick the size of a quater on the back of her skull. He who strikes this spot will demolish the brain.
*Mixing white wine in a hyena's footprint intoxicates the animal who left it. The stronger the drink, the longer the effects will linger.
*An Ajaba cannot bear the taste of baby meat; an infant younger than a year of age is always safe.
Ajaba Tribal Gifts
Basic
*Crushing Jaws: This gift allows an Ajaba to clamp shut his jaws with a strength such that his jaws will not open until the Ajaba wills it or is dead. After a successful bite attack the player spends one willpower to lock his jaw. The character then deals one automatic level of damage per round until the jaws release their prey.
*Sweet Hunter's Smile: As per the Homid Bastet Gift of the same name.
Intermediate
*Culling the Weak: This gift allows an Ajaba to determine emotional, mental, or physical sickness. The player spends a gnosis and then must suceed on a Static Mental Challenge against 7 Traits. The gift will point out the most severly ill member of the group and tell the Ajaba the type of illness the individual suffers from. Minor illnesses such as a cold or minor case of the flu are not severe enough to be detected by this gift.
Laughter of the Soul: As per the Fianna Gift Howl of the Banshee except the Ajaba emits an eerie laugh instead of howling..
