THIS IS MY STORY , THE MAKING OF ALICE THE SECOND
My story starts about the 4th of July 1995.
Telling a friend that I work with that I would like to be her slave and that I would dress the part. I would wear a garter belt, stockings and high heeled shoes. Although my lady friend wouldn't go for the 'slave' part; she did think that I would look good dressed this way. Well, let me tell you I had to think about this for awhile. My fried kept at it for me to buy some pantihose and high heeled shoes. One day she took me to buy my first pair of high heeled shoes. They had a heel that was about 3 inches and learning to walk on them without breaking a leg or my ass was no small feat. The worst part was going up and down stairs. But with some practice I was finally able to walk in them.
After some time we tried dressing me as a complete woman. My lady friend brought me my first make up kit. She also helped with my first try at looking like a lady .
The next thing to do was buy my first dress. I have been in dress stores before but not for myself. Boy, let me tell you that this can be a very scary thing to do. Looking for a dress for myself, do I ask the salesclerk to try on some dresses that I like? I don' think so. I just took a guess at size and tried measuing it across my shoulders. I now have my first dress: a long, brown with a flower print with a split almost to the waist in front.
I found a wig shop in Long Beach. The lady that runs the store was very nice and helpful. I ended up buying four wigs in various lengths and colors.
Now, all I needed was a good make over. I went to one shop that was advertising male to female make overs. I was very dissappointed with their work: they made me look like what I did not want to look like: a male with 2 pounds of make up in a dress! So, I continued to look for more help in the make up department. Going to Merle Norman's cosmetic store occurred to me. I met a lady there who offered to make me up to look as feminine as possible. My friend (the one who I wanted to be a slave) had promised that when I looked good as a woman, that she would go out to dinner and a movie with me.
I had a Saturday afternoon appointment with a young lady at Merle Norman's--it took her about 30 minutes to make me look like I had dreamed of looking: a very nice, attractive woman (not bad for being almost 56 years old!).
My friend met me at the cosmetics store--she took one look at the make up and announced, "It's time for that dinner and a movie!"
This was my first time out in public as a lady. What a thrill! The companionship of my friend made it all the better!
While we were standing the theater lobby, another lady came straight toward us. I'm sure that my friend and I were both thinking the same thing: "Oh shit! What does she want?!"
The woman came up to us and said, "I don't want to intrude or stare," looking at me straight in the eye, "but I just wanted to tell you that I think you look fantastic!" She then told me that she shopped at one of our more exclusive department stores and didn't think she looked as good in her clothes as I did in mine!
