A promise to you my online friend,
a stupid e-mail I will never send...
All will be picked with loving care,
The things I feel I must share...
Some will be made especially for you,
Others because I am blue...
When I'm lonely I pop online,
A close friend I am hoping to find...
When my buddy list shows you are not here,
I send you an e-mail and shed a tear...
When I sign on and see your name,
I hope you IM me and tell me the same...
Even though we are miles apart,
These simple e-mails connect our hearts...
So if you see an e-mail from me,
It's because you're my friend and always will be...
