So what is The Visible and Proud Webring? To provide a way to promote tolerance and acceptance, to show the world that we are more than just statistics or non-entities, that we have faces, families, friends, real people. It is promote visibility among minorities of all sorts. If we are visible, we cannot be ignored. And lastly, it is my hope that maybe, just maybe, someone will wander through our sites and by seeing the real us they can help prevent a hate crime or come to the defense of one of us who needs them.
