I Am Caught Inside A Cage
While The Actor Is On Stage.
showing sides i wish to hide;
hiding others which i pride.
is he working for my good?
doing things i never could?
He Is Just A Part Of Me;
He Is What I Want To Be.
confident in every way
telling things i cannot say;
doing things i never would
doing things i never should
He Can Mirror And Reflect
Peoples’ Moods; They Can’t Detect.
imitating those he’s ‘round;
changing his form without bound.
offering no one any harm;
gaining friends with wit and charm
But I’m Trapped With Thoughts That Swell
Lonely Feelings I Can’t Quell
trapped inside a hollow shell;
dammed within a living hell
no one who will help me share
all this loneliness i bear
WHO AM IS SUPPOSE TO BE?
