i love these musicians very much...

i had pledged undying loyalty to melissa etheridge as my absolute end-all favorite musician. she is still far and away second place, but this christmas i discovered melissa ferrick. so, she upset my nice little hierarchy and went directly to the coveted spot of favorite. third place goes to ani difranco; fourth, michelle malone, and fifth to the indigo girls.

my far and away dreamiest most utopial dream is to be a musician myself someday.  technically i suppose i already am one, because i play guitar and write songs. but i wanna do cd's. so watch out for my name in ten years. (o: my girlfriend's too. we're gonna kick ass together.
