On Saturday, October 25th at 7:00pm MCCGSL will be hosting a Halloween
Costume Party
which will be held in the Fellowship Hall. The party will be free to
anyone
attending.
There will be a D.J. for dancing and very special activities for the
children - planned
by the Children's Church Team. This will be a whole family event,
minus of
course the
dogs and cats. All are welcome.
Also...
On November 16th from 12:45 - 4:00pm "The Labrynth" will be set up in
the
Mother craft
room for anyone who wants to participate in this ancient prayer
practice. A
light
lunch will be served and participation to this event is limited to 30
people
max.
So sign up early by calling the church office.
Each year, the Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis hosts a major fundraising event to benefit the many ministries of the church. As part of the teachings of Jesus, we believe that it is right to tithe back to the community 10% of the proceeds from that event. This grant has been up to $1800 in the past and varies from year to year. We ask that organizations applying for this grant follow the criteria listed below to be eligible:
Criteria for award: Non-profit Organization
Needed Community Service for St. Louis or surrounding area
Organization is aligned with same Mission and Values as MCC
Demonstrated Financial Need
Organization has Long Term Financial Viability
