Secrets to A Better Sex Life

THIS MONTH'S SEX QUESTION:

I like to masturbate a lot. But after I do it for so long a period of time, my skin starts to chafe. How can I prevent this?
- Jack in USA

Well, Jack, using a lubricant is probably the best way to prevent chafing of the penis. Vaseline, KY jelly, even spit is better than nothing. Soap is not recommended, as for some people it can dry out the skin. Use a moisturizing soap if you can.

As with anything, use some common sense with lubricants. Somethings just make bad lubricants. Never use anything that could inflame, blister, or irritate the skin. Cremes such as acne medicines (don't laugh, some people actually try this), aftershave gel, or Mineral Ice just don't work well. Mineral Ice especially is bad because it will burn the skin and cause you a great deal of pain if you are not careful.

If you have no lubricant on hand and don't feel like using spit (spit dries very fast) you can always use something that is less abrasive than the hand. As strange as it sounds, certain types of fabric work best with masturbation, and do less damage than the hand. Fabrics must be soft, and non-abrasive, so avoid towels, wool, or polyester. Soft cotton is probably the best material to use. But don't overdo it. Fabric can abrade after a while as well.

We hope you follow this advice, and enjoy yourself more because of it. Remember, when you are strokin, don't forget the lotion.
