Holiday Food Drive

WOW! Can you believe the holidays are upon us already? And just
think how nice the weather was last year. Well, it sure isn't this
year. Cold and snowy is what we have this season. But that doesn't
stop Freeport ABATE members from coming out to do the annual holiday
food drive. While the Chapter Christmas Party the evening before
was sparsely attended due to weather conditions, the food drive
day still brought many out. We had 32 food baskets for this years
give away. And as you can see in the photos, we also had tons of
food. We are never short giving the needy a great holiday meal.
This year however, as we discussed in our January 08 meeting, we
have decided that we spend too much time and money donating to others
and not enough time and money donating to our chapters cause...Motorcycle
Riders Rights and Freedoms. So chances are next year we may not
be doing this and in its place, be doing more ABATE worthy causes.
But never the less, this years turn out was great. Check out the
pix and see.
Davey
just never gets cold. I mean, it WAS cold. What a man he
is.

Now
Arnie on the other hand looks a bit more seasonal.

And Becky is
of course dressed for the weather.

Mr. Van Horn
and new family member. You should see how everyone googles
over her. No need for baby sitters here.

Bill and his
Count Chocula????

Is that Arnie?
GB give away?

Derek looking
for table space. As you can see, there is little.

There's

thanks to Manny.

More holiday
revelers in the assembly line.
