Memorial Day Parade
May 31, 2004 - Freeport, IL

For the past few years a few of us ABATE of Freeport folks have been attending and riding in the Freeport Memorial Day Parade. It is one of the early events that gets us in the mood to ride. And usually the weather is pretty decent. Well, most of the time. This year, man, it was thretening rain since we got out of bed. But us hearty souls went anyways. We got real lucky. It was thundering and threating rain as we stood ready to ride. But we got through the parade before anything let loose. We WILL ride in this parade again next year. See you then.

Carrie Gerke and AJ in the parade line up.

Barb was ready to ride no matter what the weather did. Check the sky out.

New guy who was not with us in previous years.

Scott and Carrie looking very patriotic. Save that for November voting.

Our pal Roger.

I lightened this photo up a bit. But in reality, it was getting pretty dark the sky very gloomy.

Let's get this show going. There was some confusion as to where our place in the parade was.

Our group minus me of course since I'm taking the photo. Geez, I never get in photos.
