Freeport ABATE Safety & Ed Class
July 1, 2003 - Freeport IL High School

Check out Blaze Elliot doing a Safety & Ed class at Freeport High. This will give you and idea of what goes on during a typical class. Blaze is pretty impressive when putting on the class. Or should we say more of a performance. Not only was it educational, but very entertaining also. These classes are a very important part of the ABATE of IL initiative. Whether these students ever actually ride a cycle or not, at least they will be more aware of motorcyclists on the road. Special thanks to Freeport High for letting us come into their class.

It didn't take much get a volunteer on the cycle.

Mr. Owens introducing Blaze.

Blaze showing a vital part of a motorcycle, the throttle.

Free ABATE of IL key chains for everyone.

Amazingly, Blaze has everyone's attention. Not like math class.

Hamming it up a little....huh?

Slight clues given during the written test.

Mr. Owens expressing his dislike of one of Blazes stories. The story was a little gory.

The girls seemed to enjoy sitting on the cycle.

Another volunteer is recruited for the thrown.
