Turkey Testicle Festival
October 9, 2004 - Byron, IL
Finally, a year where the weather cooperated. Although last year wasn't too bad, the previous two before that were terrible cold and wet. So we really enjoyed the run this year. And naturally, it drew out quite a crowd. When we arrived in Byron, there were bikes everywhere. It was so crowded and busy, that we didn't stay as long as I had hoped we would. But it would seem that everyone was having a great time. Unfortunately two of our riders went down after the run. Bill Cook had a small mishap. And another rider they call Lee hit a deer on the way home on the Loran road which required a short hospital stay. We are happy to hear that both are doing well. So a message to all riders, always be on the alert for the unexpected. You just never know.

The parking lot at Cedar Inn in Cedarville IL, our starting point.

There was a line of riders waiting to sign in before leaving. Good time for a burger before leaving.

Bobby, Judy and Roger signing up riders at Cedar Inn.

Scott, Carrie, Kim and James at Baker's in Loran.

Just outside Wally World in Warren IL. See how nice the day was.

Riders at Buzz's in Foreston IL.

Buzz's. It's like an open house there every time we go.

Sylvia at the bar in Oregon IL. Can't remember the name of the place.

The festival at Union Street in Byron IL.

Edie and Colleen and their little munchy friends.

As with last year, the view from the steps of Union Street Station is like a sea of people. Man, it was crowded.

We gassing up at the Mobil across the street before leaving. What a perfect day it was. See ya next year.
