In this hour long video the whole year is shown against a background of many songs, including the In Need of Counciling song "Reno" composed especially for the video. Due to unfotunate (and unpreventable) camera problems five or six shots (out of the over 500) are noticably damaged but it's hardly more than a distration at most. If you were a part of this memorable year it's a video you can't be without.
"Love Shack" This video to the classic B-52's song is a fun review (or some might say painful reminder) of NKHS's "Guys and Dolls" cast party. Those who were there will never forget it and those who want to confirm the rumors must see this. To anyone who might be offended (whether you were there or not) just remember it was all done in a sense of fun with a group of friends...and hey it could have been worse...we could have been drunk and doing all of those things.

This incredible show about what it takes to live in 1985 is a three and a half hour epic that has been recognized world wide as being one of the best plays of the 20th Century. While the subject matter ranges from AIDS to Mormonism to homosexuality to republicans to faith it all comes down to what it means to be American and essentially alive in this day and age. Being performed on The Evergreen State College campus Feburary 23rd, 24th, and 25th at 7pm it's an extremely powerful journey through the lives of a group of people living in New York at the beginning of a plague that still faces mankind today.

Well it had to happen eventually. I've been censored. This third and final choir video apparently exposed a bit more about some of the people in the memories than they wanted. All I can say is two words: Cast Party. There's really nothing wrong with this 20 minute video but I can understand how people can get touchy about it. Techinically it's one of the best pieces I've ever edited. There are a couple of copies out there currently and those who want their own can go ahead and get a hold of me. If you are currently a senior at NK you may want to wait until after graduation to order a copy just to keep Mrs. Cauter from being in a compromised position.

The final project for Matt's Video Production Workshop. The theme the group was given was "WATER." The basic storyline features the dreams of the Mermaid King. The abstract ideas in his head run the gamit from gay pirates to baptisims. It doesn't always make sense but is a lot of fun.

The title pretty much speaks for itself on this one. This music video to the ABBA song "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight)" covered by the incredible group A*TEEN shows a couple of girls night out on the town, looking for a man to spend it with.

One of the speculative titles for this project was "Nothing In Particular". Featuring a picnic in limbo, two women eat plastic food and talk.

Originally a 1-minute-long-edited-in-camera short about Matt Smith. Now a thirty second digital film. It flashes image after image of what's important in Matt's life.

Shiny Shirt Film's first paying gig (thank you Kirby Chriss). This hour long video features the talented youth of North Kitsap performing skits and songs.

A Roving Players production.

Rather impressive for being filmed without ever having seen the play and not having a tripod. The story is the classic Christmas Carol but with the lead as a woman. The play integrates multiple Christmas songs from classic hymns to a song from John Denver and the Muppets Christmas Show. No matter how many times you have heard this story of redemption it's still touching.

Due to techinal difficulties the film quality isn't as impressive as it could have been. This does not take away from the feat that it was however. Multiple scenes, and a large cast made this quite an undertaking for students freshly in college to undertake, especially since this was the producers first video project. Taken from the Tom Stoppard stage play the video ads some humor while still staying true to the depressing mood of the classic play Hamlet.

The second episode in the Jerry Springer trilogy. This 40 minute long musical version features the characters from Cabaret, Singin' in the Rain, and West Side Story telling their stories. Taking the audience through the characters trials (real or imagined), the Final Thought is Sally Bowles belting out that "Life is a Cabaret." It's a toe tapping good time.

The first parody of Jerry Springer. Anyone who knows Silence of the Lambs knows that's a cast of characters asking to be brought on Jerry Springer. This show also began the tradition of Jerry being killed each time. And on that cheery note, this synopsis shall end.

The third and last episode in this series created for Mr. Davis' Film Study classes. This one, written by Terri Shreve, is a pardoy of the incredibly disturbing documentary Roger & Me about the economic effects on Flint, Michigan when GM left it. It wasn't difficult to place the real people of Flint in this hilarious and weird panel for Jerry Springer.
