A Protection Spell

Look into a fire and visualize it bathing you with glowing, protective light. It create an invisible wall that looks like a shimmering sphere around you. Then say:
"Craft the spell in the fire;
Craft it well; Weave it higher.
Weave it now of shining flame;
None shall come to hurt nor maim.
None shall pass this feiry wall;
None shall pass, no, none at all."

At each corner of the outside of your house bury one precious stone and four silver coins.

Protection of the Home From Spirits

Sprinkle a line of salt all along the walls from room to room, but do not block the doorways with it. Once you have done this, walk to the front door and open it (make sure it is not blocked by salt!) and say:
"You are not welcome in thy home,
You are not welcome in my bed,
Be gone from this house and leave me alone!
Hence now for what I have said!"
