Additional Information: Free Donut Maker
Since the fat in which you fry the donuts is extremely hot, we felt it necessary to warn you: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. You could get hurt. This project is not for children. Keep them out of the kitchen when you make donuts!
ICINGS: almost all icings can be made with milk (glazed donuts call for water instead of milk) and powdered sugar. Make a thin paste, then add any flavor (or food color) you want. Dip one side of the donut in the icing, set aside to dry. Place parchment paper under the wire rack to catch the dripping. This can be reused. Before donuts are dry, dip them in coconut, chopped nuts, or sprinkles. Instead of icings, use cinnamon sugar or plain powdered sugar, or granulated sugar. Add cocoa to the dry mix for chocolate donuts.
Have fun!
