Homosexuality has not been illegal for decades, but for decades after it was legalized, the police were still putting participants in prison for the “crime.”
They did it simply because “they didn’t like queers.” And were probably also ordered to do it. The scam the police would use goes like this”
Two guys were caught in a sex act. The police would arrest both parties.
They would take the participants to the police state to “investigate” the
“crime” knowing full well that no crime had been committed. But the
participants “felt” they were guilty because they “knew” that homosexuality was “wrong.” So, they felt guilty.
The cops would separate the “criminals” and talk to each outside the
earshot of the other.
They would zero in on the less gay of the two.
“Look, we know you are not queer. But if this gets in the paper that you willingly participated in a homosexual act, you could lose your job, your wife, your children, your home - you could lose everything you own. We will try to keep the case out of the papers, but it probably will be printed in spite of that. So, if you want to save yourself, your home, your marriage, etc., then you have to testify that this other guy held a knife to your throat and forced you to submit to him. Otherwise, you will
come off as a willing participant.
Naturally the guy would go for it.
He would go into court, swear to God that he didn’t want his dick sucked, etc., and the other guy forced him.
So, now we have a case of, not homosexuality, but kidnaping, assault and rape.
The cops had a case, the judge found the man guilty, sentenced him to prison, and everybody was happy. Everybody except the guy in prison, of course.
I have seen this happen, time and again. At one time the prisons were full of guys who had broken the “homosexual” law - which, in truth, didn’t exist.
