Right and/or Wrong

In order to understand this article, you might need to read Exodus, and Addendum to Exodus.

In these articles, I explained that in order to become scientifically oriented, you must give up your belief in a god as pictured in organized religion. But most people cannot do this because of their powerful and unrelenting belief in the bible. If you believe in god, then you must by necessity believe in the bible. And if you believe in the bible then you must believe in god. It's like a dog chasing its tail. It's like a merry-go-round.
Eventually you will come to the realization that this conundrum is a stated fact with a supporting piece of evidence that relies on the stated fact for proof.
It goes like this: There is a god. There has to be because I say so.
(This is the bible speaking.)
And what proof do we have that you, the bible, is telling the truth?
Take my word for it. You have to believe me or I will kill you. (This from an all-loving god? Doesn't sound much like a god talking to me.)
So the only proof we have there is a god, is the bible.
Because it says so in the bible. As one retarded boy once said to me, "How would you know there was a god if someone hadn't told you?"
Well, what about the bible?
The question immediately comes to mind, if god wanted everyone to know something, why would he print it in a book?
Especially, in a time when nobody could read!
At the time the bible was printed, not even one percent of the population could read. Why would god print something for all time, for all souls to read, in a book that cannot be read. People could not read in those days.
They still can't, to this day. If god wanted me to know something, why didn't he just zap it into my gourd like he did with the birds and the other animals on earth. They don't have to read a book to know what is right or wrong, nor how to live, nor when to have sex, and with whom. It soon becomes pretty obvious that god's book is pretty stupid. If god is so all-powerful, why can't he just talk to me? Eventually, the thought comes to mind that both god and his book are downright silly. God never wrote any book, because there is no god. Consequently, no god, no bible. No bible, no evidence. (I know some idiot will say, "Oh, I know there is a bible. I have one at home." ) So, we come to the realization that all the evidence in the world that supports the concept of god is man- made evidence. Man made the bible, so it becomes clear that he, man, also created god.
You, my friend, have gone for the okie-doke. You have been bamboozled, scammed, duped, hoodwinked, not to mention outwitted, beguiled, tricked, and screwed.
As have the whole world.
Right and wrong? They exist only in the bible. Or in the context of the legal system. To say that something is wrong and mean it is against the law of the land is probably accurate. We say probably because the jury is still out on whether legal and illegal are valid. But to say something is right or wrong according to the bible is totally silly.
You can feel that whatever it is you are doing is wrong is fine with me.
But kindly keep your feelings to yourself. They don't apply.
