Hello!

I am a producer at the Maury Show in New York City and I work on our Drag King and Queen shows. My bosses would like to mix things up a little, and look at Drag from a slightly different angle.

We are looking for some personality plus men: drag queens and female impersonators that are as handsome as they are pretty! We plan to book 5-6 men with out-of-the-box personalities who will appear on our show with an outspoken mother or sister begging them to be KING for one day - and their sequins and heels for a suit. This show will allow for actual interview time and bantering discussion between family members - a step beyond our more traditional pageant style shows. Though we are playing on appearances - we are also interested in what is going on inside, and on the family dynamics. "Maury, Make Over My Drag Queen Son" is the theme. In addition, to the "make-over" from Drag Diva to debonair dude, we are also hoping to pepper the show with music and talent performances by some of the guests. This is a very light-hearted show that should be a ton of fun!

We are scheduled to tape Wednesday, March 8, 2000! All flights and hotel accommodations for out of town guests are taken care of by the show!
