The San Francisco Spikes is a non-profit, predominantly gay, social organization which provides people an opportunity to play soccer in a positive and friendly environment. We also field a competitive soccer team for participation in the Marin Soccer League and the IGLFA annual World Cup and other gay soccer tournaments within the United States. We are an international group of players, including many from other countries, such as France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Norway and the Philippines. |

Tournaments Upcoming tournaments: |
The highlight of the soccer season for the San Francisco Spikes is when the Spikes go on tour. The Spikes participate in tournaments once or twice a year, both regional and international. The International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) sponsors an annual tournament which the Spikes participates in as often as possible. These are well attended events and those team members that participate have an incredible time. There is much that could be said about the tournaments, but the less said in print the better.
