These words of wisdom are, of course, merely words. But for whatever reason, they have rung true over the centuries (OK, well in the case of my quotations, over the last couple years) and have earned a reputation for being much more than mere words.

Open your heart and clear your mind. As you read these, your heart may rush, you may feel sadness, or elation. If this is the right time and place for you, you may be spending a very long time here.
