BEARS or big, hairy gay men

You've gathered that the bear has become the symbol for gay men who are hairy and somewhat large. Both of those descriptions are sorely lacking, since there are varying degrees of both. There are also other traits or characteristics that make up a man's "beardom." Two men, Bob Donahue and Jeff Stoner created what is called, "The Bear Code."
