Time passes and things get better. Quentin included. June approaches quickly and the stress is on. Willy not only has a wedding to plan, he also has to get busy with his schoolwork to make sure he graduates. One day, a stretch limousine pulls up in front of the house. The whole group is standing in the doorway wondering who it could be when suddenly Darwin pushes them aside and runs up to the car. The rear door swings open and out steps a lovely lady in a red dress: Daphne DiFranco, Darwin's Mother. She says she's come home to meet the man who plans to marry her little boy. When Darwin brings Willy forward, Daphne asks for a few minutes alone with him. Once she has him to herself, she makes Willy swear an oath to her that he will never hurt Darwin. With honesty written all over his face, Willy swear to Daphne that, as long as he is his lover, Darwin will come to no harm. Apparently, she's convinced of willy's love for Darwin, for she immediately dives into the wedding plans. Of course, as usually happens when a mother tries to give advice, some ideas just don't fit.
