My Favorite Sites
I like listening to radio stations that "netcast" from around the world. My favorite is from Auckland, New Zealand, More FM 91.8. This Kiwi station plays upbeat contemporary music and their commercials (few) are just as entertaining! G'day!
Sind sie Deutsche? InfoRadio webcasts live from Berlin, mostly with news and information.
The cartoons and humor of German artisan Uli Stein are great, especially his mice.
For you mariners, check out the web site of H. M. Bark Endeavour, the replica of Captain Cook's ship that sailed around the world in the 1700s. The replica, built in Australia, has its homeport in England (where the original ship was built). The replica and its crew made its first transatlantic voyage to the North American Continent this year. Its first port of call was in West Palm Beach, Florida, where Jim and I served as volunteer tour guides. You can track the ship's voyage up the coast at their site.
