In 1969 an alien menace invaded Earth. Some members of S.M.A.S.H. were killed while others were imprisoned in suspended animation while attempting to stop the alien. Diana, now called Ms. Masque, was one of the heroes imprisoned. It was 30 years before Tom Strange and his counterpart, Tom Strong, would free her along with the other science heroes. Together S.M.A.S.H. and Tom Strong defeated the alien menace.

Like most of the other members of S.M.A.S.H., Diana had trouble dealing with the current time period. S.M.A.S.H. disbanded and Diana began working for Terror Inc. in Invertica City. In the three years after the alien crisis, Diana and Tim Roland were seeing each other romantically. Diana would soon put an end to their romance because of her new feelings for Carol Carter (Fighting Yank II). Ms. Masque played a role in the next major Earth crisis, helping to stop the one-time hero Mystico. The aftermath lead to the reformation of S.M.A.S.H. Diana rejoined the team and moved to New Lancaster to be with Carol.

Yet another major threat struck Earth. A time anomaly created by an unconscious Captain Future played havoc with reality. During this incident the udgraded megalomaniac computer Terror 2003 (with the reminiscence of the deceased Bob Burton) supposably killed Tim Roland in order to replace Tim’s brain for his computerized one. The Terror 2003 now had a human body and revealed his plans to use the time anomaly for world dominance. The Terror 2003 kidnapped Ms. Masque, but she later escaped with the help of Tom Strange and Princess Pantha. A past version of the real Terror destroyed the Terror 2003 while Ms. Masque woke Captain Future with a kiss, ending the time anomaly. Ms. Masque continues to play an important role as a member of S.M.A.S.H.

Powers: None. However, Ms. Masque is a master in no less than nine different martial art techniques and is an expert marksman with a gun.
